I have a few more shots from the Marco Huizar Jewelry shoot to show you. Brittany Bates is the model on these ones, and unfortunately I did not take as many pictures with her so I only have three to show you.

skrillex.

Last night I had the pleasure of accompanying my friend Shiraz to shoot an interview for his radio show Made You Look Radio.

The guy he interviewed  was an incredible DJ named Skrillex. He was seriously down to earth, and an all around great guy AND we were lucky enough to spend the beginning of his birthday with him. Here are some pictures of the interview and the show:

brave new world.

happiest of new years!

i hope everyone rang in twenty-eleven in style.

i want to share my new year’s resolution with everyone, because i think you can help me with it!  starting february first i will be quitting my nine-to-five and rely on photography and photography related jobs as my income. scary.

i am taking this humongous step because i am unhappy working and not shooting. i would rather be starving (or eating at the parents every night) than be doing something i dread everyday. so, where do you come in?

i will be offering 20% off ALL of my portrait session and wedding packages, that’s starting at $280!  so tell your friends, family, whoever! i would love to shoot you.

i wish you all the best of luck in your new year, and new years resolutions.                           here’s a shoot i did with allison before christmas.

inspired.

i have some explaining to do! sorry it has taken me SO LONG to update the blog, busy start of the (september) new year, and not so busy shooting..

where to start? i moved into an apartment downtown, started working for an amazing wedding photographer (christina craft) doing her post-processing. check her out here: http://victoriabcphotography.blogspot.com

Sorry I haven’t posted a thing since my recent departure for mexico. A combination of heat, laziness and no internet is to blame! Here’s a few images from the past two weeks:

inspiring photographer of the week: the western grads of 2010.

As I mentioned earlier, I recently graduated from the Western Academy of Photography. I just wanted to say a little congratulations  to all of my fellow graduates. Everyone worked incredibly hard to get to where they are and they definitely deserve some recognition.

Here are the websites that I could track down, for those who have made them.

Congrats grads! I wish you the best of luck in the future.

brittany.

A lifelong friend of mine celebrated her graduation yesterday. I had the pleasure of stopping by the festivities and snapping a few photos.

Between me, my sister, and Brittany and her brother she is the youngest of us to graduate. We are all so proud of her. Congrats Brittany, you looked beautiful.

caitlin.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending time with my friend Caitlin McDonagh. She is a very talented local artist, who unfortunately for me, will be moving to Calgary next month.

I have worked with Caitlin a few times, and she is always so much fun to shoot with. Here are a few photos from an afternoon with a dear friend:

You can check out her work here.
